In my first year, I was Chair of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Consumer Rights.<\/p>\n
From 2006 until 2013, I was the vice-chair of the Green Group in the Bundestag (Bundestagsfraktion). My responsibilities streched from policy fields such as environment, energy, consumers, animal rights to building and mobility.<\/p>\n
2014<\/h4>\n
I became Chair of the Committee on the Environment, Nature Protection, Building and Nuclear Safety in 2014 and continued this until my last session in 2017.<\/p>\n

Today<\/h4>\n
After years as member of the Bundestag, in November 2017,\u00a0 I started as Energy Commissioner for Africa of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).<\/p>\n
